Bio
Coach Poropat was promoted to the role of Associate Head Men’s and Women’s Soccer Coach at Fontbonne University in March 2011. Coach Poropat had served as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Fontbonne since August 2005.
Coach Poropat brings a wealth of experience to the Fontbonne staff which includes high school, collegiate, club and professional coaching stints. He has served as a coach with the St. Louis Lions of the USL, Lutheran North High School and Forest Park Community College. He also spent several years as a coach, tournament and camps director, and board member in the Gateway Strikers Soccer Club.
Coach Poropat earned his B.A. in Communications in December, 1997 from Missouri Baptist University. He earned a M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction from Fontbonne University in December, 2010. Further, Coach Poropat holds the USSF “A” Coaching License and the NSCAA Premier Diploma.
