The Fontbonne University women's basketball team traveled to Eureka, Illinois where they suffered a loss 70-38 on Wednesday night. Then, on Saturday, they did not need to travel far as they faced off against Webster where they dropped the contest 119-61.
The Griffins move to 1-14 on the season and 1-9 in conference play.
During Wednesday's night game, Ja'mise Bailey led the floor in scoring with 24 points. She also pulled down eight boards.
Brianna Beamer added 12 points, while Kristen Kaempfe led the floor in rebounds with 11.
The Griffins made
On Saturday's game against Webster, Bailey scored 24 points once again, added five rebounds, five assists and four steals.
Beamer totaled 19 points and four rebounds. Piper Fitzgerald scored nine points, while Sam Foppe scored seven.
The Griffins made 17 field goals, 11 three-pointers and 16 free-throws.
