Jas Gordon Scores at Missouri Valley Open, Men’s Wrestling Competes at UCM Open

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Jas Gordon returned to action at the Missouri Valley Open where she earned a victory against NCAA DII wrestler, while Daniel Bauer and Stephen Bell competed at the Kaufman/Brand/Bayly UCM Open.

"It was a big step forward for Jas," shared Head Coach Chad Cook. "It was a cool experience to be a part of the biggest college wrestling tournament to my knowledge. She wrestled a great match against the #2 ranked wrestler in the nation. She was winning with less than a minute to go and lost a close 8-6 match that could've gone either way. Proving that she can compete with the best in the nation says a lot about her development and the work she's putting in."
