McDonough named SLIAC's first volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

St. Louis, Mo. - The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced the first conference players of the week today and among them is Fontbonne senior outside hitter Kersten McDonough (Pacific, Mo./Pacific).
McDonough was named SLIAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week after powering her way to 34 kills over two matches in the opening week. She started the week with 11 kills in a win over Harris-Stowe and followed with 23 kills against Robert Morris-Springfield. For the week she hit .359 and averaged 4.4 points per set. She leads the SLIAC with an average of 4.25 kills per set.
