Women's Soccer ranked 10th in latest NSCAA Central Region Poll

Fontbonne University women's soccer is ranked 10th in the Central Region Ranking of this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Poll.

The Griffins, who are 10-5-1 on the season, are riding a four game win streak and have won eight of their last nine contests. Eight of their 10 wins have been shutouts. The program has reached 10 wins in four of the last five seasons.

This is only the second time Fontbonne's women's soccer program has been regionally ranked, the first of which occurred on Oct. 21, 2014. The team is currently ranked 13th in goals, assists, points and shots on goal per game among NCAA Division III teams.

Fontbonne will travel to Fenton, Mo. this Saturday for an evening game against Webster University. The two Big Bend rivals, both undefeated in conference play, will square off at 5 p.m. at Scott Gallagher Soccer Park.
