St. Louis, Mo. - After taking down Oakland City Tuesday, the Griffins fell to Hendrix College Sunday afternoon. Fontbonne is now 3-5 on the year.
Hendrix's Lucy Moore scored the lone goal of the game in the 37th minute, surrounded by a cluster of players.
Fontbonne failed to convert on a 9-5 second-half shot advantage and managed just one corner kick opportunity.
The Griffins open conference play this weekend when they travel to Westminster College Saturday for a 7pm start time.
