Dennis And Kretzer Pick Up Wins Against Blue Jays

FULTON, Mo.—The Fontbonne University wrestling teams returned to the mat tonight against Westminster and the men's team fell 28-12 against the Blue Jays.

On the men's side, the Griffins took a 6-0 lead with Kody Kretzer winning by forfeit. At 141, the Blue Jays evened up the score with Dalton Landreth winning by fall at 4:10 over Daniel Bauer.

At 149, the Blue Jays grabbed a 10-6 lead on Colton Thompson's win by major decision against Josh Presley. The Blue Jays collected another fall win at 157 with Jackson Beene knocking off Joe Beck.

Micah Dennis got the Griffins to within six at 18-12 after his impressive win by fall just 0:14 seconds in at 165. However, the Blue Jays earned a forfeit win at 197 and Brock Davis defeated Jorduan Griffin by fall at 1:08 for the win at 125 pounds.

In an couple exhibition matches on the women's side, Kayla Davis competed against Tristan Folkner and Taylor Reed.
