Vandervort Stands In 11th After Round One At The OCU Country Oaks Invite

MONTGOMERY, Ind.—The Fontbonne University women’s golf team closed out round one at the OCU Country Oaks Invite with a 409.

MONTGOMERY, Ind.—The Fontbonne University women's golf team closed out round one at the OCU Country Oaks Invite with a 409.

Indiana University-Kokomo leads with a 334. Oakland University scored a 341 for second, while St. Mary-of-the-Woods hit a 355.

Individually, Hallie Hinton (Oakland City) leads the field with a 4-over par 76. Maddi Vandervort paces the Griffins after scoring a 17-over par 89 for 11th place. Grace Harlin hit a 23-over par 95 for a 16th place tie, while Hannah Householder is one-stroke behind her at 24-over par 96.

Allison Franken and Catherine Fowler, meanwhile, scored a 129 and a 136, respectively.
