Huelsing named to Midwest Conference Spotlight

Grinnell, Iowa - On Friday, Fontbonne women's golfer, senior Kaylee Huelsing, was the student-athlete spotlight for the Midwest Conference. The below information comes directly from the conference's official release:

Huelsing recorded a top-10 finish at the Midwest Conference Preview meet last Sunday and sports an 89.3 average after three rounds of golf this fall. 
 
We caught up with the senior accounting and business administration major from Evansville, Indiana to gain some insight on her experiences as a student-athlete at Fontbonne.   
 
What's your favorite class you've taken so far?
Essentials to Sewing
 
Favorite sports team/teams?
St. Louis Cardinals and University of Michigan Football
 
Favorite late night snack?
Taco Bell
 
If you could travel to one place in the world where would it be and why?
Northfield, Vermont to visit my brother at college
 
What attracted you to Fontbonne University?
Small class sizes and strong academic opportunities
 
Are you involved in any other clubs/organizations on campus other than athletics? If so, what is your role with them?
I am a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and am a Student Ambassador
 
Are you involved in any community service projects/organizations?
Yes, I am a member and secretary of a local Kiwanis Club here in St. Louis  
 
What are you hoping to do with your degree post-graduation?
I want to attend graduate school at Fontbonne University and then obtain my CPA. After that I would like to move to Washington, D.C. and work as an internal auditor for a government agency.
 
What do you like most about being a student-athlete at Fontbonne University?
I like being able to compete and play the sport I love while still focusing on school and my other curricular activities.
 
What has been your most memorable moment as a student-athlete so far in your college career?
Shooting a personal low at a home tournament last spring.
 
What is your favorite road trip you take during the season?
It is hard to choose just one, I would say every road trip is memorable and full of fun and laughter.
