Katie Gosser Sets Program Record In Pentathlon

ELSAH, Ill.—Katie Gosser was the lone competitor today at the Principia Multi-Meet in the Pentathlon for the Griffins and she ended up breaking her own program record with 2282 points.

In the 60-meter hurdles, K. Gosser had a new personal-record time of 11.42. In the high jump, she just missed out tying her personal-record at 1.35 m and went on to end at 4.37 m in the long jump.

She won the event in the shot put with a final throw of 8.15 m and smashed her personal-record time in the 800-meter dash by 11.0 seconds to end at 2:42.32, which places her seventh all-time.

The Griffins are back at it tomorrow to conclude the final day at the Principia Mult-Meet.
