Men's Volleyball at Trine and Adrian Preview

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University men's volleyball team jumps into conference play this weekend when they'll take on Trine at 6 p.m., on Friday followed by a 10 a.m., contest against Adrian on Saturday.

A Look At The Griffins

• Fontbonne has won two of its last three games including coming off a straight set sweep over Greenville.

• Kyler van Rossum-O'Connell averages 8.59 assists per set and is second on the Griffins with 21 blocks.

A Look At The Trine Thunder

• The Thunder have dropped its last five contests and fell in straight sets against Adrian in its first MCVL outing on Tuesday.
• On the season, they've totaled 10.46 kills per set and a .159 hitting percentage.
• Freshman Parker Beale leads with 131 kills and a .261 hitting percentage.
• Kyle Dixon will be another player to look out for with his 108 kills.

• The Bulldogs snapped its seven-game slide with the sweep over Trine on Tuesday.
• The team posted 43 kills and a .323 hitting percentage. Noah Marcinkowski was the reason offensively with a match-high 22 kills and .513 hitting percentage.
• Thus far, the Bulldogs averages 11.38 kills per set and a .189 hitting percentage.
• Marcinkowski leads with 282 kills and ranks second nationally with 4.55 kills per set.
• Tedrick Gula averages 2.31 kills per set, to go along with his .135 hitting percentage.
• Setter Joseph Campana hands out 9.64 assists per set.
• Defensively, the team averages 11.86 digs per set and are led by Kevin Curley's 2.87 digs per set.
