Kenosha, Wis. - Fontbonne men's volleyball concluded their weekend play against No. 6-ranked Carthage College. The Griffins are now 8-6 overall and 4-5 in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League.
Carthage stormed out on their home court to a 25-15 first-set victory. Fontbonne then tallied 17 and 21 points in the ensuing two sets.
Right-side hitter TJ Vorva hit .312 to lead the Griffins with six kills. Setter Kyler van Rossom-O'Connell recorded the team-high in digs (8) and assists (12) for the second game in a row.
Fontbonne has now lost four games in a row. They are back in action on the road next weekend, first at Loras College in MCVL action Friday, February 24th at 7 p.m., followed by non-conference action at Mount Mercy on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
