St. Louis, Mo. - Men's Soccer took a 3-0 loss tonight to Millikin University. The Griffins sit 0-4-1 on the year and travel to Wabash College next Saturday.
Millikin scored in the 24th minute on a short slip pass up the center and notched another goal in the 40th minute to close out the first half with a 2-0 advantage.
Fontbonne put pressure on the Big Blue in the second half but failed to convert a goal. Millikin scored their final golden nugget on a rocket from thirty yards out.
Millikin held a 19-15 shot advantage throughout the game while Fontbonne's Tony Pitaro and Millikin's Trevor Creek each saved five shots.
