Kaminski Tied For First After Round One Of The Battle At Belterra

FLORENCE, Ind.—Round one has concluded at the Battle at Belterra and the men's golf team scored a 31-over par 315 for sixth place. The "B" team stands in seventh at 64-over par 348.

How It Happened

North Central College stands in first place after totaling a 17-over par 301. Hanover College is in second place at 18-over par 302, while Governors State University totaled a 21-over par 305 for third.

Individually, Zach Bohmer (North Central) and Sam Kaminski are tied for first place after scoring an even-par 71. Kaminski had a rather clean scorecard with just three bogeys and three birdies on the afternoon.

Carson King was the next Griffin on the leaderboard after he hit a 7-over par 78 for 15^th place. Cory Harrison, who represents the "B" team, totaled a 9-over par 80 for 23^rd place. Paul Henderson hit a 10-over par 81 for 27^th, while Will Pruden followed at 14-over par 85 for 28^th.

Matt Rapisardo hit his way to a 17-over par 88, while Paul Weiskopf and Satchel Conroy, both on the "B" team, are currently tied for 36^th at 18-over par 89.

Mike Maloney was a stroke behind his teammates at 19-over par 90, while Pete Weiss concluded his day at 28-over par 99.
