The Fontbonne University men's basketball team traveled South for two conference contests against Lyon followed by MUW. The Griffins fell to Lyon on Thursday, 96-63, followed by a loss to MUW this afternoon, 87-82.

Game one against Lyon
- Charles Nelson put up 24 points to lead the floor, going 10-for-17 from the field, 2-for-6 from deep and 2-for-2 from foul-line.
- Kendall Horton scored 15 points, going 4-for-15 from the field and remaining perfect from the foul-line making all seven free-throws. He added four rebounds, four steals and five assists.
- Kaden Augustine, Casey Crowley and Jordan Lewis each scored nine points.
- Lewis pulled down seven boards and Crowley recorded six boards.
Fontbonne shot 39 percent from the field, 15 percent from deep and 80 percent from the foul-line. Lyon shot 51 percent from the field, 38 percent from deep and 100 percent from the foul-line.
Game two against MUW
- Charles Nelson led the floor once again, scoring 31 points. He pulled down five boards and dished in three assists.
- Jordan Lewis added 13 points and four rebounds.
- Kendall Horton was one rebound shy from a double-double, scoring 12 points and nine boards. He also had four steals.
- Kaden Augustine was one point and one rebound away from a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
- JP Ruble scored 10 points, going 3-for-5 from the field, 2-for-2 from deep and 2-for-2 from the foul-line.
Fontbonne shot 42 percent from the field, 34 percent from deep and 58 percent from the foul-line. MUW shot 47 percent from the field, 54 percent from deep and 71 percent from the foul-line.
