WILMORE, Ky. – The Fontbonne University men's basketball team dropped two road games in Kentucky this weekend. The Griffins drop to 0-3 on the season.
Charles Nelson posted a new career-high in points with 32.
Griffins took a 99-57 loss to Centre.
- Charles Nelson led the floor with 18 points.
- Casey Crowley and Jordan Lewis each scored 11 points.
- Crowley pulled down three boards while Nelson, Kendall Horton and Kaden Augustine each recorded two rebounds.
- Horton recorded five steals while Augustine had three.
Griffins fell short to Asbury, 85-83.
- Nelson recorded a career-high 32 points. He also recorded six rebounds with five coming from the defensive end.
- Augustine added 18 points and eight boards.
- Crowley scored 15 points.
- Lewis recorded 13 points and pulled down five boards.
- Horton had five boards and two steals.
- The Griffins shot 70 percent from the foul-line.
