St. Louis, Mo. - Fontbonne pitcher Tanner Carter has been named the SLIAC Pitcher of the Week for March 23rd. Carter pitched the Griffins to two wins on their 4-2 week, going 13 innings on the mound while striking out 16 batters.

Carter walked just one batter and allowed just one unearned run to cross the plate. Carter led Fontbonne to a 3-0 shutout in the Griffins' first divisional game of the season.

The Griffins play at Washington University Wednesday, March 25th at 3pm.
