Eureka, Ill. - Fontbonne University women's volleyball overcame a 1-1 tie tonight to take down Eureka College 3-1. The win snaps a five-game losing streak for the Griffins who are now 3-7 in conference play. Fontbonne returns to St. Louis to take on MacMurray and Spalding in a SLIAC quad on their beautiful Clayton campus. Eureka will also be in town as the fourth team.

Brown also finished with 11 kills on 18 attempts for a .500 average. Sophomore Kristina Eason was the only other Griffin with double digit kills as she finished the game with 12.

The Griffins committed just two serve reception errors, a significant improvement from last weekend. Winning the first set 25-13, the Griffins were edged in set two 24-26 but bounced back to win 25-18 in the third set. Stearing away from a five-set match the Griffins won set four after a long rally 30-28.
