Women's basketball picked 4th in SLIAC pre-season poll

The Fontbonne University women's basketball team has been projected to finish in fourth place in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) according to the coaches pre-season poll. Eureka College was selected to win the conference according to the poll.

The Griffins finished 15-11 last season with a 12-4 SLIAC record which earned them third place in the conference.  Fontbonne returns a strong frontline which includes junior Chelsey Freymuth (11 ppg) and senior Allison Hogan (9.7 ppg).

Fontbonne opens the season on Nov. 16th against Anderson University at 8 pm in the Anderson University Tip-Off Tournament.
