Track and Field continues to push performances past previous marks

Montevallo, Ala. - Fontbonne track and field continued to grow at the Falcon Classic, hosted by the University of Montevallo March 24-25th. The women finished 17th by scoring nine points. Scoring was led by Raven Venegas who finished second in the women's discus with a throw of 35.22 meters and Katie Gosser who finished eighth in the women's heptathlon with 2492 points, which currently is 10th in the nation for Division III athletes.

Below are the following highlights of the meet for both the men and women's teams. The Griffins will again be in action this Saturday as they travel to Madison, Ind. for the Hanover Invitational.
