ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University baseball and softball teams hit the community this past weekend to deliver trees for the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments.
The group unloaded the truck full of trees and put them on display for the sixth straight year. This is the 66th year of the tree lot operation and every dollar raised will provide critical early intervention services to children 0-3 years old with significant visual impairments, and provide group programs for children 3-18.
The DGC also provides family support services connecting its families with needed resources, transportation, clothing, food, education and advocacy. They also conduct vision screenings and strive to increase ability awareness in the community.
